Since joining as a volunteer at Solidaritas Perempuan Kinasih Yogyakarta in 2021, Aniati Tokomadoran, known as Ani, has become interested in exploring the impacts of structural violence and ecofeminism. These two topics have led her to delve deeper into the issue of the climate crisis and its effects on women and marginalized groups. After being involved with SP Kinasih for over three years, Ani currently serves as the Program Coordinator. In this role, she organizes and facilitates women farmers in campaigns and advocacy programs related to women's resilience in facing the climate crisis, as well as women's so- vereignty over food and land. Based on her experience in organizing rural communities, Ani observes that community members are more receptive to information and knowledge shared by religious leaders. Thus, involving religious leaders and Islamic boarding schools in promoting messages about the climate crisis is highly relevant. One ongoing effort by Ani and her organization is the development of a climate crisis extracurricular module in Islamic boarding schools (Climate Boarding School module). This module's development involves collaboration with young members of FNKSDA (Front Nahdliyin for Natural Resources Sovereignty), young members of KHM (Green Cadres of Muhammadiyah), and four boarding schools from NU and Muhammadiyah in Yogyakarta. In addition to being available in book form, the extracurricular module will also be developed into videos to make it more accessible for educators.
