Yulianto’s attention and interest in environmental issues is shown through his activities in empowering and assisting village communities to have community-based electricity and drinking water. Interestingly, Anto implements the community empowerment by using a sustainable system that prioritizes local wisdom. Anto aspires that one day people will be able to rely on water, wind, gas, and the sun as electricity sources and we can have safe drinking water without having to buy in packages.
As the leader of the Tentrem Bersama Community, Anto encourages community economic activities to optimize existing natural resources. The community has assisted at least 25 villages for the activities. He hopes the government is able to have policies that support his effort to provide access to electricity and clean water so the program can be scaled up.
