Puspita Sari

Ni Luh Kadek Puspita Sari is currently an active student in the Faculty of Agriculture at Udayana University, Bali. Besides being a member of the Student Executive Board (BEM), she is also actively involved in several organizations that advocate for climate justice issues, particularly related to renewable energy, food crisis, emission-free tourism, and agrarian conflicts.

Together with Climate Rangers and 350.id, Puspita, as she is commonly known, serves as the coordinator of the Power Up movement in Bali. Through this campaign, she encourages young people to demand 2024 presidential candidates' commitment to addressing the climate crisis, including discontinuing the use of coal-fired power plants and transitioning to renewable energy sources.

Puspita is also actively engaged in a civil society alliance that supports the residents of Batur who are at risk of eviction due to a planned development of luxury villas on their cultivated land. This development project is projected to worsen pollution in Lake Batur and damage the surrounding forests. One of her contributions to supporting the residents is teaching environmental education to the local children and raising awareness about agrarian conflicts through social media campaigns.
