Wiwi realizes that the impact of climate change is real. She witnessed firsthand how farmers in her village in Karangkobar, Banjarnegara, Central Java, experienced several crop failures due to bad weather. Residents' vegetable and coffee plantations were destroyed due to erratic weather. Apart from that, Wiwi also observed that good fertilizers greatly influence the quality of the harvest. However, the price of fertilizer is very expensive in her area. In order to help tackle the issues, Wiwi tries to support the farmers in her village by joining a farming community and holding training in making organic fertilizer using existing waste. The experience teaches Wiwi, who is currently a Soedirman State University student majoring in Law, to have a determination to help voice the challenges faced by farmers in her area, to tackle the impact of climate change, in order to gain more support, especially from policy makers and the authorities.
