One of the environmental issues that sparks Aria’s interest is the link between people's consumption patterns and the increasing carbon emissions. Aria's awareness of this issue emerged when he was in college and often took part in online discussions on the topic of increasing carbon emissions. One of the issues that particularly fascinated Aria was the excessive use of jets and private planes by affluent individuals as well as online shopping activities. According to him, it is clear that the use of private jets significantly contributes to carbon emissions and online shopping activities do not necessarily reduce carbon footprints. The arguments triggered him to voice his concern for reducing carbon emissions through campaigns on social media. In his campaign, Aria stressed the need for stronger policies from the government and the importance of promoting the use of public transportation for the citizens to reduce carbon emissions. He believes that the progress of a country is not marked by the ability of its citizens to buy cars, but shown by the increasing number of upper social class individuals using public transportation.
