Objectives:

As a Digital Campaigner at WeSpeakUp.org, you will play a crucial role in advancing our organization's mission through strategic campaign development and implementation. You will collaborate closely with our campaigns team, using your skills in communications, community engagement, and project management to drive impactful change. The Campaigner position will focus on leading specific projects and campaigns that address various issues faced by women and marginalized communities.

Responsibilities include:

• Content Creation: Creating engaging social media content that aligns with the message and mission of WeSpeakUp.org. The writing and content you produce will inspire our audience to drive meaningful action for social change.
• Research: Utilizing research skills to gather information from credible sources. Your ability to analyze data and weave it into compelling narratives will make our social campaigns more impactful.
• Trend Analysis: Staying up to date with the latest social media trends and compiling simple daily trend reports to inform the team’s content strategy and ensure we remain relevant.
• Community Networking: Building meaningful connections with communities and other organizations through content collaboration, networking, and attending events or activities within the organization’s network. Strengthening relationships will amplify the organization’s voice and extend its reach.
• Persona: Being the face of WeSpeakUp.org on social media. Representing WeSpeakUp.org with integrity and enthusiasm as you interact with our supporters on social media and a broader audience.

Requirements:

• Professional Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in campaigns or communications. Experience in media or journalism is a plus.
• Social Media Content Creation: Proficient in creating social media content, especially on Instagram and TikTok.
• Writing Skills: Excellent writing skills with a talent for storytelling.
• Research Skills: Strong research skills with the ability to find and utilize credible sources of information. An analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into accessible and persuasive content.
• Socio-Political Understanding: Good understanding of the socio-political landscape in Indonesia, especially issues of social justice affecting youth, women, and marginalized communities.
• Interpersonal and Networking Skills: Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with a proven track record of successful collaboration.
• Commitment: Strong commitment to the values and mission of WeSpeakUp.org.
