About WeSpeakUp

WeSpeakUp.org is a nonprofit organization that serves as an accelerator for social change movements. Our primary goal is to empower women and marginalized communities to create positive impact. At WeSpeakUp.org, we work to realize our vision of a just and equitable world where everyone has the power to speak out, participate in policymaking, and drive change.

The issues we focus on in this program are those related to the climate crisis, nature conservation, and the fulfillment of indigenous peoples’ rights. These include sustainable land use, forest protection, indigenous communities, biodiversity conservation, the energy transition, eco-friendly innovation, and climate justice.

WeSpeakUp.org runs programs focused on leadership development, community empowerment, and social action. Its main programs include We Create Change (leadership training and social campaigns), Muda Bersua(ra) (youth networking and collaboration), and Puan Bersua(ra) (safe spaces and capacity building for women). All of these programs are supported by campaigns, storytelling, and civic engagement to drive tangible social change.

This program is open to young people from all over Indonesia, including those with disabilities, aged 18–35. We are looking for young people who are passionate, proactive, and have creative ideas for driving change on issues of climate justice and environmental protection.
