Ferdino considers that the way the Central Java government in handling the Semarang-Demak tidal flood is still not ideal. Therefore, he tries to learn the root cause of the disaster. Ferdino went to Timbulsloko Village, in Demak, to help the community whose land was being eroded due to harsh tidal floods. The experience motivated him to act both online by holding discussions on conservation day and offline by participating in planting mangroves at Tirang Beach, Semarang. Ferdino targeted his campaign to the Semarang Government to stop industrial activities that exploit groundwater, especially in coastal areas. As a supporter of literacy and dialectical culture, Ferdino and his friends also founded the SR_School community to promote literacy and encourage dialogue across backgrounds. Ferdino is now a student at Semarang State University and is a member of the student council.
