Inspired by Greta Thunberg, Nala Aprilia's commitment to climate advocacy is evident through her participation in more than 70 climate strikes, whether by walking or cycling. Currently a psychology student at UIN Surakarta, Nala has been actively campaigning for the urgency of the climate crisis by joining various actions and forums in her region. Since joining the International Fridays For Future movement in 2021, Nala has successfully extended her activism to the global stage, including participating as a delegate in COP27, the Urban Social Forum, and the Climate Justice Camp 2023 in Lebanon. Through her actions, Nala envisions a future where Indonesian society can live environmentally conscious lives with better quality of life.
Currently, together with her community, Nala actively campaigns to advocate for climate education in the Bogor Regency. Her main mission is to influence decision-makers and ensure that climate education becomes an integral part of the curriculum, ultimately saving lives and creating a sustainable future for all.
